Designer, Natco Products Corporation, West Warwick RI | 2011 – 2014
Responsible for all aspects of the indoor/outdoor rug collection – Creating original or preparing customer artwork for mill ready files, color development for yarns and mill correspondence. Responsibilities also included creating extensive color work for customers and creating sales booklets using Adobe InDesign twice a year for ITMA Market/Showtime.

Artist and CAD Designer, Cranston Print Works, Cranston, RI | 2003 – 2004
Responsible in all aspects of creating, designing and coloring patterns for Cranston Print Works open line, their customer specials and licensed products. Artwork created by hand painting or with CAD system using Ned Graphics, Illustrator and Photoshop.

Design Consultant, Kalaraksha, Bhuj, Gujurat, India | 2001 – 2002
Worked with a small, artisan based, grass-roots organization to develop new products for heir Home Furnishing line. The project was funded by the J.W Fulbright Scholarship and involved a collaboration fusing the traditional regional embroidery and appliqué crafts with modern designs to develop contemporary products.

Artist, Main Street Textiles, Fall River, MA | 2000 – 2001
Created hand painted artwork from original ideas or documents for Main Street Textiles weave designers. Finished designs were used for Main Street Textiles Furniture Line, Jobber product and customer specials.

Artist, Quaker Fabrics, Fall River, MA | 1999 – 2000
Created hand painted artwork from original ideas or documents for Quaker Fabrics weave designers. Finished designs were used for Quaker Fabrics Furniture Line, Jobber product and customer specials.

Co-Founder and Designer, Madras & Meridian, Providence, RI | 1997 – 2000
Company focused on creating hand made textile Home Décor items (throw pillows and bedding). All product was designed, dyed and silk-screened by hand in the M&M studio. Responsibilities included all aspects of running a small business, from designing and marketing, to handling customer specials and retail store needs.

Designer, Sunbury Textile Mills, New York, NY | 1995 – 1997
Designed Jacquard fabrics for both the spring and fall furniture lines from company weave blankets. Worked with artist to develop new designs for the furniture line and customer specials. Responsibilities include creating color lines, maintaining mill deadlines, creating a comprehensive sales booklet for the STM sales force, and traveling to High Point, NC for two seasonal show times and the April and October Markets.
